More musings of a Morrowind fan. I was drawin', trying to get tired enough to sleep for tomorrow's class, and decided to finish up this picture I've been tinkering with. Gotta make this quick though; I have class tomorrow morning, but I was so jazzed at finishing this I had to get up to scan it O.o
This is a rare departure from my usual foray -- The only use of Bic pencil was a little on the chest! Most of this was done with a 6B sketch pencil. I also tried to subdue the use of line as best I could; got a little inspiration from a book on Chiaroscuro that I read in Ex Libris. Colorized in Photoshop.

Awesome, I love the angular sweepy-ness you gave his armor and robe-thingies. His sword looks kinda dinky, but I haven't played Morrowind recently enough to remember what they looked like.
great work. I look forward to trying that technique myself

The way you drew the helmet make it look like an alien. (then again, the helmet does look like something from a sci-fi game or film)
And I love how you did the background. I can clearly see the sandstorm.
Wow, this is starting to bring back my memories of playing this game.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
