Howdy!
So, next stop for me is Albuquerque. Not sure how this is gonna play out, but I'll at least be able to say I've seen New Mexico! At this show CCP Comis is going to release its two newest comics -- our latest comic-anthology ComiKaze and Reichenbach #1, both with art by yours truly! I'm glad to finally have comics-work to show for all this time I've been working for a comics-publisher I've gotta be honest though; I do fear the inevitable "When is Issue 2 coming?".. For all I learned on the first issue, I hope I can knock out the future ones faster.
Also, I've set up a shiny new blog!

I'm going to use it mainly as a journal for works-in-progress, for life-drawing and other assorted sketches, and convention photos. Should be fun; keep an eye out for it! If you check it out now, you'll see WIP's of a Powerman & Iron Fist piece I'm currently drawing as well as sketches from this past month's Naked Lunch.

My Artwork has Witnessed -Death-!
Last night I was inking on a comic page (Reichenbach: The Key, Issue 3) when a gadfly landed on the board. I tried to blow on him to shoo him off, but he stuck tight right where he was -- The guy really seemed to like that third panel, so I let him stay there. And stay, he did. I inked around him the rest of the evening and he still wouldn't move when I called it a night and went to bed.
Today I got home from work, and looking at my drawing board I saw the gadfly still right where he was the night before. I blew again to check on him. He tumbled off the board to the ground, dead.
I could have taken this moment to reflect on our mortali

I'll be working the CCP Comics' table tomorrow (Saturday, June 22)! Sorry for the short notice -- It's kinda news to me too ^^;
Next Stop: ACE! Comic Expo
Howdy,
Firstly, Wizard World New Orleans was AWESOME! Lubbock Comic Expo was AWESOME! ComicPalooza was AWESOME! ...And I, for failing to tell y'all about my being at any of them, kinda suck as a self-promotor :blush: To those of you who found me out at those shows ANYWAY, thanks very much for coming by and supporting the glory of indy comics :D
Next up for me is ACE! Comic Expo in sunny Albuquerque, NM! I had a blast at the show last year, so I'm really looking forward to this one. Hope I'll see some of y'all out there!
Austin Wizard-World Wrap-Up
So yeah... Michael Beihn -- Never saw him. Kevin Sorbo -- Never saw him. I did see Edward Furlong, and I thiink I might have seen Hayden Panetierre. The good news is, I didn't go to Austin Wizard World to scope out the celebs -- I went there to work a table for three days, and THAT I did indeed! Good times were had! I even still have a couple of sketches left over from the show that I can upload at some point; weirdly, a couple of buyers never came back to collect... I think I may have drawn more at this show that I have at any other -- most of that had to do with the fact that I did a sketch for anyone who bought a $5 sketchbook, but
